Ryan Garcia accused Devin Haney of a 'hate crime' on Tuesday after he was shoved by his forthcoming opponent, and claimed he now 'identifies as a woman' as his erratic social media activity continued. The pair will fight this Saturday at the Barclays Center, and were atop the Empire State Building when things got chippy, with Haney eventually pushing Garcia in the face. The two had been jawing beforehand, with Garcia being heard saying, 'Where's your mom, b***h?' And afterwards, Garcia said on X, 'Devin touched me without my consent im suing him for putting his hands on me. 'And I Identify as a woman,' he continued. So he touched me as a Grown man and hit a Grown woman. And I’m lgbtq+. So now it’s a hate crime. Nah this is SO F****D UP.' Garcia further added that he 'thought [Haney] was going in for a kiss no cap,' and was evidently not affected by the push as he said 'I ate that weak a** push.' Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney's verbal jarring became physical on Monday morning
Garcia claimed after the incident that Haney's actions amounted to a 'hate crime; There has been concern for Garcia's mental health of late, which peaked on March 3 when a cryptic and disturbing video claiming he was dead after getting his 'throat slit' was posted on his social media accounts. Over the next 72 hours, Garcia alleged he was raped by a family member at the age of two, has evidence of aliens existing, and witnessed children being raped by 'the elites' after being tied up at Bohemian Grove. Garcia also claimed that an earthquake would 'destroy' Hollywood and Las Vegas while labelling Elon Musk the 'Antichrist'. That activity apparently led the New York State Athletic Commission to ask him to undergo a mental health evaluation, which he passed according to a post on his X account. 'Just got cleared from the commission to fight after the evaluation and drug test LETSGO!!,' he said before his incident with Haney on Tuesday. 'I’m so happy THANK YOU JESUS.' He was also heavily criticized on social media after he appeared to claim he predicted the Baltimore Key Bridge disaster would happen in a now-deleted tweet. Garcia claimed he has carried the promotion for his upcoming fight with Devin Haney Haney, pictured, 'is not a draw for boxing fans,' in the words of Garcia ahead of the fight Garcia also led calls to 'free' controversial influencer Andrew Tate after he was arrested and released in Romania for a UK sexual assault warrant. And on Monday, he shared that he'd proposed to Australian porn star Savannah Bond - who said yes. Last week, Garcia claimed Haney 'is not a draw' for fans amid low ticket sales. 'I definitely have been carrying this promotion on my back by myself,' Garcia said. He continued, ‘I was a big advocate for lowering the prices. I personally think the prices were very high, and I want everybody to be in the building.' |
