Incredible video footage of massive Chiefs draftee Kingsley Suamataia jumping out of a pool surfaced on Friday night after Kansas City selected him in the second round. Suamataia, an offensive tackle out of BYU, was taken at No. 63 by the Chiefs as the two-time defending champions added more protection for Patrick Mahomes. And after the pick, the NFL's official X account unearthed an impressive video of the 6-foot-5, 326-pounder performing a standing jump out of a swimming pool. It's not clear how old the video is, but Suamataia has blonde highlights in the clip, while his hair was fully brown during the NFL Combine in March. Either way, the video is an incredible feat of athleticism for someone that size, and a potential peek into the talent that KC is getting. 326-pound Kingsley Suamataia was seen performing a standing jump out of a pool
Suamataia, who finished his college career at Oregon, is seen during the NFL Combine Following the pick, ESPN said that 'Suamataia's tape is inconsistent, but the flashes and ceiling are impressive.' He was the 74th-best player in the draft according to ESPN's rankings. In other Chiefs news, Mahomes and teammate Travis Kelce were seen practicing together this week. The pair was with quarterback trainer Jeff Christensen, who previously played in the NFL. Earlier this month, Mahomes was also seen working out with new teammate Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown. |
