(ECNS) -- Total revenue of China's state-owned enterprises hit 39.8 trillion yuan (about $5.5 trillion) in 2023, with a total profit of 2.6 trillion yuan, indicating steady and high-quality growth, according to a report from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council on Wednesday. Cumulative fixed asset investment, including real estate, reached 5.09 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 11.4 percent. Investment in strategic emerging industries reached 2.18 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 32.1 percent.
